Before your procedure, Dr. Goodyke will provide you with instructions on how to prepare. This may include fasting for a certain period of time or taking a sedative pill the night before or the morning of your procedure.
On the day of your procedure, you'll be given the sedation medication. If you're receiving nitrous oxide, you'll breathe it in through a mask that's placed over your nose. For oral conscious sedation, you'll take a pill that will make you drowsy but still awake. Once you're sedated, Dr. Goodyke will perform the dental procedure.
